Red Bull Lighthouse to Leighton Race 2017

I competed in my first long distance kiteboarding race! The 19km race began on Rottnest Island and ended in Leighton, Perth, Western Australia. The race was fun but extremely challenging as the winds were light (10-15kts) and the largest kite I had with me was a 10 meter. It was a slow go for me and very hard work with the smaller kite but I did manage to cross the finish line. Super stoked to finish and not be eaten by a shark!
