Redback, funnel web, blue-ringed octopus,
Taipan, tigersnake and a box jellyfish.
Stonefish and the poison thing that lives in a shell
That spikes you when you pick it up
Come to Australia
You might accidentally get killed.

“Scared Weird Little Guys” is an Australian music duo that sing about all the deadly animals you may encounter if you come to Australia. Fortunately, I have not seen any poisonous creatures yet; however, I did get a good scare from a HUGE spider last weekend!

Inside the bedroom of the B&B I stayed in at Jarvis Bay, I saw the largest spider I had ever seen! It was a huntsman spider and was as big as my hand! I had no idea at the time that the scary spider is not poisonous; however, it does bite. I did know that it was a good possibility it could be poisonous as Australia is filled with many venomous and deadly creatures!
